Blue Jasmine (2013)
Cate Blanchett is brilliant in the title role, a neurotic, narcissistic woman brought high and low by self-important men, apparently incapable of living her own life or even of finding anything within herself of value. Woody Allen’s script and direction are crisp, and the supporting players all solid. Nicely filmed in San Francisco. Worth a look.
