Butterflies Are Free (1972)
Something of a light take on a blind young man leaving home for the first time in early-1970s San Francisco. Goldie Hawn and Edward Arnold are well suited to their roles, and Eileen Heckart is strong in her Oscar-winning turn as the blind man’s overprotective mother. Not great, but a worthwhile rendering of Leonard Gershe’s stage play.
