Magic Mike (2012)

A surprisingly strong performance by Channing Tatum drives a relatively standard but still interesting tale of a good man in a bad business, trying to make his way in the world. Matthew McConaughey also delivers as an oily promoter, and Steven Soderbergh provides solid direction.
