Eyes of Laura Mars (1978)
This thriller often leans more absurd than frightening, more silly than stylish. While it contains the kernel of a good idea, and even an interesting twist, the story fails even before the script does. Faye Dunaway and Tommy Lee Jones are fine, but they have little given them to say, and virtually no direction on how to say it. If this production represented an opportunity, it was definitely missed.
